SCUBA / SNORKELING

We supply a qualified, experienced instructor, all scuba equipment and wetsuit for a personalized guided dive in the Avalon Underwater Park. Your dive may range in depth from 10 feet to 75 feet while exploring the shipwrecks and kelp forests, all teeming with marine life. Your guide will customize your dive depending on experience & comfort level.

Your (2) hour tour includes: Your guide, a knowledgeable and experienced instructor and an expert on Catalina Island marine life, scuba equipment and wet suit. Participants must show proof of certification.  Please allow approximately 2 hours for the tour and reservations are required.

WATERCRAFT / ELECTRIC BIKES

Jet Skis:  Splash into crystal clear waters on your Sea-Doo watercraft and experience open ocean riding off Catalina Island’s awesome shorelines! Experience chance encounters with our local dolphins. Reservations suggested.

Electric Bike Rentals: The COOLEST way to explore the City of Avalon and all of it’s beauty with just the twist of a throttle on state of the art Electric Bikes!  Rent by the hour, half day or full day.

DESCANSO BEACH CABANA RENTALS

Situated in a private cove just past the Casino, the beach club offers the beauty of a private beach with all the advantages of a club.  Enjoy the splendor of Descanso Beach Club from a private cabana or upgraded chaise lounge.

ZIP LINE – The Ultimate Island Tour

Propel down 5 separate zip lines dropping from 500 feet to 60 feet above sea level with one run that is 1,100 lineal feet long all on its own. This incredible experience will forever change your idea of what a tour should be. You will travel close to three quarters of a mile over five consecutive zip lines at heights of 300 feet above the canyon floor at speeds pushing 45mph.  Beginning at the Hog’s Back gate, high in the hills near Avalon and descending through Descanso Canyon, you will pause at several eco-stations along the way before continuing on your journey. At each station, your hosts will give you a presentation on some of the unique and interesting aspects of Catalina Island, its wildlife, history, and the areas you are passing through.  Eventually exiting at Descanso Beach your journey will last approximately 2 hours and your memories will last a lifetime.

Located bayside at the foot of the pier, Avalon Grille offers flavorful cuisine, a bevy of cocktails and stellar people-watching in a Tommy Bahama-type atmosphere.
